  • Locate and arrange yarn pin trucks for doff
  • Locate empty yarn tubes and place on trucks
  • Walk lines and place Yarn IDS labels on each running winder
  • Doff yarn from winder to pin truck
  • Push full trucks to scales, weight and move to appropriate location
  • Burn waste yarn off tubes as needed
  • Collect and bale waste as needed
  • Sweep and clean work area and leave in good condition for next shift

Weaving Maintenance Tech / Loom Fixer

  • Patrol weave room, record any looms needing to be doffed and add pen tags to each
  • Doff roll off take-up onto the floor, collect and remove waste
  • Cut off a sample and take it to the Lab
  • Put out filling as needed, remove empty tubes and trucks to Extrusion
  • Doff selvage rolls from loom and place in the collection area
  • Use fork lift to move doffed rolls to the warehouse
  • Tools and equipment must be maintained and working area kept free from unnecessary clutter
  • Leave shift in good condition for your following team member and complete work on a timely basis, agreed upon by you and your supervisor

Tie-In Operator

Job Type: Full-time

Job Requirements: At Belton Industries, Inc. our tie-in operators are responsible for walking the entire Weave Room at the beginning of the shift and notes warp-outs for current shift. The operator selects the loom requiring first, leases warp and removes empty beam. The operator then locates the replacement warp, transports to loom, installs and then ties ends using the tie-in machine. ** A COVID-19 vaccination is not a requirement or condition of employment.

  •  Electrical knowledge should include a good understanding of AC controls, schematics, AC motors and drives, temperature controls, use of a multimeter, and general troubleshooting skills
  • Strong electrical skills preferred 
  • Mechanical knowledge should include a good understanding of power transmission components, such as bearings, pulleys, gears, gearboxes, belts, chains, etc., and how to properly repair them
  • Should possess strong mechanical aptitude. Must be able to work independently and with others. Must be able to independently troubleshoot equipment on shift in an effective manner

  • Complete all types of Style Changes on assigned Beamers within deadline
  • Locate and set empty beams 
  • Draw yarn into comb and eyelets on assigned machines

  • Clean up defective yarn packages
  • Locate and stage creel yarn trucks and boxes
